Changing or Canceling Your Piskes Plan

A step-by-step walkthrough of changing or canceling your Piskes subscription through the billing portal.

Before you start

Plan changes and cancellations on Piskes go through a hosted billing portal, not a form inside Finance itself. You'll need to be signed in with access to your workspace's billing settings.

Step 1: Open Finance

From your workspace, go to the Finance app, then the Subscriptions section. This is where your current plan, payment method, and renewal status are shown.

Step 2: Open the billing portal

Click Manage Billing. This opens the billing portal in a new tab — a separate, hosted page rather than something built into the Subscriptions screen.

Step 3: Make your change

From the portal, you can:

  • Change your plan — move to a different tier, up or down
  • Update your payment method
  • Cancel your subscription

If you cancel, note that cancellation typically takes effect at the end of your current billing period rather than immediately — check the confirmation the portal shows you, since this determines what you continue to have access to until the period ends.

Step 4: Confirm the change reflected back in Finance

Once you've made a change in the portal, return to the Subscriptions page in Finance. Your plan status — including whether cancellation is scheduled and when your current period ends — should reflect the update you just made.

A note on what the portal can and can't do

The billing portal handles standard subscription changes well: switching tiers, updating a card, canceling. If your workspace has an unusual billing setup — multiple products, usage-based charges — the portal may not handle every case as cleanly; hosted billing portals generally have known limits here. For the common case of moving between plans or canceling outright, the steps above are the complete process.
