Setting Up an A/B Test on a Page

Piskes Website Builder now supports native A/B testing on individual pages, with a full alternate page, a traffic split, and an active/paused status.

Piskes Website Builder now supports native A/B testing on individual pages — a capability notably missing from several other page builders in this space, including ones that otherwise compete closely with Piskes on design flexibility.

How it works

Any page can have a Variant B: a full alternate version of that page, with its own HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, built in the same editor you already use for the main version. This isn't a lightweight content swap — Variant B is a complete second page, so anything you can change on the original, you can change independently on the variant, from layout to copy to embedded scripts.

Running the test

Once a variant exists, you set a traffic split — what percentage of visitors see Variant B instead of the original — and a status: active or paused. Pausing a test stops sending visitors to the variant without deleting the work you've put into it, so you can pick a test back up later without rebuilding it.

Why it's page-level, not site-level

A/B testing here is scoped to one page at a time, which matches how most real tests are actually run: a single landing page, a single pricing layout, a single hero section — not a whole site split into two universes.

Set up a first test from any page's settings under A/B Test. It's available today on every site with no additional configuration.
