Running a Multi-Language Site
Piskes Website Builder now supports running a single site in multiple languages, with translations managed directly alongside the content they belong to.
Piskes Website Builder now supports running a single site in multiple languages, with translations managed directly alongside the content they belong to — no separate localization platform, no duplicate copy of the site per language.
How translations work
Every piece of text on a site has a default language — the text as originally written — and, optionally, a translated value for each additional locale you add. From the site's Translations screen, you can see every translatable string next to its translation status per language and fill in what's missing. Leaving a translation blank isn't a separate "untranslated" state to manage — it simply means visitors in that locale see the source text, which is exactly what an incomplete translation should do rather than showing a blank or an error.
What happens when you remove a language
Dropping a locale from a site clears out everything stored for it. That's deliberate: leaving old translations around after a language is removed risks them silently resurfacing, translated against content that's since changed, if the language is ever added back later.
Why now
Multi-language support has been a consistent gap next to Piskes' otherwise thorough domain, design, and publishing tooling — and it's a place several larger platforms still push customers toward paid add-ons or third-party plugins to solve.
Set up additional languages from Site Settings → Translations. Existing single-language sites are unaffected — nothing changes until you add a second locale.
