Gateway Portal Gets a Connectors UI
A new Connectors page in the AI gateway dashboard lets a signed-in customer connect, check, and disconnect a Google account without touching an API.
The AI gateway's dashboard gains a new page: Connectors, reachable from the sidebar for any signed-in customer. It's the visual front end for the connector-worker service shipping alongside it — connect a Google account, see whether it's currently active, and disconnect it, all without calling an API directly.
What it does — and doesn't — do
The page itself is intentionally narrow: connect, check status, disconnect. It currently covers Google, showing which actions that connection unlocks — Gmail send and list, Sheets read and append. Running those actions isn't something you do from this dashboard, though; that's for your own code, calling the gateway's action endpoints once a connection exists. This page is the credential-management layer, not a place to trigger a Gmail send by hand.
Why it needs a real login
Unlike some pages in the gateway portal that stay reachable without signing in, Connectors is authenticated-only. Connecting a third-party account is inherently tied to a specific customer's identity, so there's no version of this page that makes sense to show before you've signed in.
How the OAuth handoff works
Starting a connection redirects your browser straight to Google's consent screen — the dashboard first asks the gateway, server-to-server, for a ready-to-use authorization URL, then sends your browser there directly rather than fetching and re-redirecting client-side. Once you approve access on Google's side, you land back on a callback route in the dashboard that simply hands the result off to the gateway to finish — the same shape the platform's chat app already uses for a comparable Gmail connection flow. No new credential was needed to build this: the page uses the same authenticated session the rest of the gateway-portal dashboard already relies on.
Connectors is live now for any signed-in gateway-portal user — look for it in the sidebar.
