Where the Paid Ads Dashboard Stands Today: Preview, Not a Live Connection
The paid-ads dashboard inside Editor is live in the UI today as a planning preview — it does not yet connect to any real ad platform account.
We'd rather tell you plainly what a feature does today than let you find out by clicking around and guessing. The paid-ads dashboard inside Editor's admin area is a real, visible part of the product right now — and it's worth being direct about exactly what that means: it currently shows mock and demo data only. No real ad platform account is connected behind it yet, and the interface carries a banner saying so.
What's actually there today
The dashboard gives you a preview of what a connected paid-ads view will eventually look like — the layout, the kinds of numbers you'd expect to track, the shape of a campaign overview. What it does not do yet is pull real spend, real performance, or real account data from Google, Meta, TikTok, or any other ad platform. Nothing you see in that dashboard today reflects an actual advertising account, and no action taken there sends anything to a live campaign.
Why we're saying this outright
A dashboard full of numbers that look real but aren't is worse than an empty one — it's easy to mistake a demo figure for a real one if nobody tells you otherwise. So we're stating it plainly rather than letting the banner do all the work: if you're evaluating Editor for paid-ads management specifically, that surface is a preview of the intended experience, not a working integration yet.
What this is useful for right now
Even without a live connection, the current dashboard is a reasonable way to get a feel for how campaign data will eventually be organized once real platform connections land, and to plan your team's workflow around that eventual shape. It's not yet a substitute for checking your actual ad accounts directly.
We'll follow up with a clear announcement when a real ad-platform connection ships — until then, treat anything in that dashboard as illustrative, not actionable.
